Who we are ...
Enmore Consultancy Ltd (‘Enmore’) is a specialist consultancy, providing training, advice and sharing of experiences for engineers, surveyors, architects, contractors and their clients or employers, who may be contemplating or are already involved in construction projects for engineering and building works.

Enmore specialises in contracts let under New Zealand Standards 3910*, 3916 and 3917 with which its Director (Andrew Brickell) has been involved in developing and refining for more than 35 years, and also under contracts let using the FIDIC suite ** and NEC3 ***. Andrew is supported by other visiting trainers.

Training customers are typically taught and discuss the various choices and options for setting up projects, about the standard risk allocation and how it might be altered, and how to select the best contract for the project's needs. Within this framework, topics explored may typically include issues of appropriate documentation and procurement processes, evaluations and recommendations for contract award, potential pitfalls during tendering and after the contract is awarded.

Then we consider communications, site mobilisation, commencing work, supervision and construction monitoring, the management of variations and time extensions, and the entitlements to and achievement of completion milestones, together with processes available if the contract goes awry, including how to manage defaults and disputes.

Advisory services can include reviews of proposed procurement processes, tender documentation, tender evaluation, contract award, site establishment and management, payment claim processing, extensions of time entitlements, variation valuations, preparaing or responding to claims, certification of completion milestones and resolution of disputes.
